 96 Tears in the movies

Steven King's,Cats Eye
This movie was about a guy trying to quit smoking cigirettes, so he goes to a clinic that helps people quit. He gets caught smoking and the clinic takes harsh methods like abducting his wife, when he shows up at the clinic, his wife is in a glass cage. The person in charge tells him this is what happens when we catch you smoking, the cage has a steel floor wired with an electrical charge; it gets turned on and she starts jumping from electrical shocks, again with 96 Tears playing in the back ground. I enjoyed the movie; I do believe he quit smoking too.

96 tears was on STATE SIDE the movie ,it was a great movie about a soldier that is home on furlough from vietnam and falls inlove with young lady. the song is almost used in its entirety, first time. in the past the song was used for only parts of the song.

I was watching VH1 recently; they have a show called 1 Hit Wonders and we were featured.  I guess it was the 100 top hits, we were #15 that really was a shock. I thought we would be at the higher end of the list..William Shatner was the host, it seemed so ironic, I use to watch Startrek back in the day when our song was still in the charts and we would be on tour, getting ready for our performance, we had to leave the motel to our gig, I would be stuck to the tv trying to watch the end of Startrek and we had to leave.
